What is the Super Guarantee rate?

The SG rate is 12% from 1 July 2025 onwards. It increased gradually from 9.5% (2014-2021) to 12% (2025-26).

Can I contribute more to super?

Yes. You can make personal contributions up to the concessional cap ($30,000 per year) which are taxed at 15%, or non-concessional contributions (up to $120,000 per year).
